I had set all to temporary allow in NoScript but that didnt work but disabling no script all together then allowed the site to write login credentials to the app. I found out that NoScript browser extension was blocking the site from calling the app with the login details I put in on the site. I tried the reinstall, clear cache, reboots and so on and it just showed me that login screen on the app that takes you to the webpage which tells you logged in ok and go back to the app but the app still says login which takes you back to the site grrr
